Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using FreeCADBlocks ("Site", "we", "us", or "our") at https://freecadblocks.blog. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. Description of Service

FreeCADBlocks is a free library of CAD blocks, DWG files, and DXF drawings for use in architectural, engineering, and design projects. Registered users may upload their own CAD files to share with the community.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at admin@freecadblocks.blog if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Downloads — Permitted Use

All CAD files available for download on FreeCADBlocks are provided for use in your own drafting, design, and construction documentation projects. Unless a file's description states otherwise:

• You may use downloaded files in personal and commercial projects.
• You may modify files to suit your project requirements.
• You may not redistribute, resell, or re-upload the original or minimally modified files to other CAD libraries or file-sharing platforms.
• You may not claim authorship of files you did not create.

Some files may carry their own licence terms specified by the uploader. Those terms take precedence for those files.

5. User Uploads — Content Standards

When you upload content to FreeCADBlocks, you represent and warrant that:

• You own the content or have the right to share it under the terms you are granting.
• The content does not infringe any third-party copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights.
• The content does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
• The content does not contain malware, viruses, or malicious code of any kind.
• The content is a genuine CAD drawing (DWG, DXF, ZIP/RAR of CAD files) and not unrelated material.

We reserve the right to remove any upload at our sole discretion, without notice, if it violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.

6. Licence You Grant Us

By uploading content, you grant FreeCADBlocks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute your uploaded files and preview images to users of the Site. You retain ownership of your content. You may request removal at any time by contacting us.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or mass-download files at rates that disrupt normal site operation
• Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with security features of the Site
• Upload files containing malware, ransomware, trojans, or any malicious code
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions
• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity
• Engage in any activity that places an unreasonable load on our infrastructure

8. Intellectual Property

The FreeCADBlocks name, logo, site design, and original code are the intellectual property of the site operator and may not be copied or reused without permission. Individual CAD files are the intellectual property of their respective uploaders.

9. Third-Party Advertising

The Site displays advertisements served by Google AdSense and potentially other third-party ad networks. These ads are clearly displayed and separate from our content. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that:

• The Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses
• Any CAD file is accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific project
• Results obtained from downloading or using any file will meet your requirements

You assume full responsibility for verifying the suitability and accuracy of any file before use in a professional or construction project.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FreeCADBlocks and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site or any content downloaded from it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FreeCADBlocks and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

13. DMCA / Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, please send a notice to admin@freecadblocks.blog containing:

• A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
• The URL of the infringing content on our Site
• Your contact information (name, address, email)
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf

We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly upon receipt of a valid notice.

14. Modifications to the Site and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of competent jurisdiction.
